Google and The Wharton School have partnered to gather and provide quick perspective on managing the change in the marketing landscape. The YouTube Channel “Fast Forward” explores what will define success through marketing’s continual evolution, it aims to share ideas and lessons learned to help keep us all better informed and effective as the game – and conversation – rapidly progresses.

Production Company Snippies is perpetually shooting marketing events all over the country for the Google / YouTube Channel. Each event will produce anywhere from 20-40 vignettes. The channel is rapidly approaching 2,000 clips ranging from 1-3 minutes each. In addition to editing individual vignettes and managing the digital files for integration to the channel, Noah also assembles event teasers, such as this one from the BMA event, for a quick overview of a particular theme or topic.

On June 3, 2010 a celebration for the District Attorney of Queens County, Richard A. Brown, honored 50 years of public service. Also serving his twentieth year, Judge Brown is now the longest serving DA in Queens County History. The event was held in the US Open Club at the Tennis Center in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Concluding the event, Perception created a video highlighting the Judge’s accomplishments throughout his service to the people of the state of New York.

Noah Todd was an integral part of the Perception team. He Directed photography on the interviews, edited the film, integrated graphics, mixed audio, and color corrected for final delivery to Blue Ray DVD. The film was presented on a close circuit high definition system installed specifically for the event.

The film captures the broad history of Judge Brown’s service by mixing interviews of past and present colleagues with historical photographs and narration. Some of the interviews include Former Mayor Ed Koch, Former Mayor David Dinkins, Former Supervising Judge of the Appellate Division 2nd Dept. Milton Mollen, Former Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau, Former President Bill Clinton, Former Assistant Director of the FBI New York James Kallstrom, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly, The current DAs of Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, and the Bronx. After noting his achievements and history the video moves into interviews with Assistant DAs who have worked for the Judge as well as his family for a look at the man behind the accomplishments. We come to understand what a genuine and special person Richard Brown is and why his accomplishments and leadership are so highly regarded.

Navigating Complex Conversations in the Era of Obama:
New Ways to Address Race and Inequality in Policy and Practice

This important event held by both NYU Wagner Graduate Schoolof Public Service and UCLA School of Public Affairs was not only an enlightening experience for the topics and conversations addressed at the event, but also a practice in holding such an event with hosting methods such as “Fish Bowl” and “World Cafe” which aim to allow a medium to large number of attendees achieve maximum participation. This was held in both LA and New York City. I documented and edited this overview video for the New York portion.
